How much can I coat with one kit?

Every application varies but we find that most customers can coat 2-3 grills with one 15ml bottle of the original Grill Guardian kit. Even more if you step up to the Ultimate care kit with the 20ml bottle. In our test kitchen using the Ultimate care kit we were able to coat 1 grill, 1 ice maker, 1 out door fridge and our cocktail station.

How long does it take to apply?

Application once your grill has been fully cleaned is super easy. The time spent applying Grill Guardian should only be about 15 minutes. If you purchased the Ultimate Care Kit and will be applying the Slick top coat allow 1.5-2 hours for the Grill Guardian coat to begin curing before starting the Slick application. Again that coat should only take about 15 minutes.

It is normal to see some form of crystallization in the bottle. Do not be alarmed as it part of the normal process of the ceramic coating interacting with the hydrogen in our air. You can still use the product as directed. The crystals themselves are much softer than the surface of your stainless steel appliances and as you spread the product normally there is minimal force needed.
